Taylor C. Woodman researches and teaches on international student exchange, internationalization of higher education, qualitative methodology, and Cuban education. A passionate advocate, Taylor has presented his research & practice at global, national and regional international education conferences on themes related to privilege, storytelling, and fostering inclusive excellence in study abroad. Taylor currently serves an Internationalization Specialist in the Office of International Affairs (OIA) and as an Affiliate Assistant Research Professor in Higher Education, Student Affairs & International Education Policy for the College of Education at University of Maryland. In the OIA, he supports the operations and faculty development programming for the Global Classrooms Program and strategic internationalization projects. He also teaches in the International Education & Higher Education Administration Programs at The George Washington University. Prior to joining OIA, Taylor served as the Manager of Advising Services in the Office for Study Abroad at the George Washington University. Taylor holds a B.A. in Public and Urban Affairs from Virginia Tech and a M.A. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and a Ph.D. in International Higher Education Policy from the University of Maryland.
